So I am very happy that the Eagles won – mostly because the Patriots lost. Don’t hate on me for that. I had to watch them come back at the last minute and beat Atlanta last year after sucking the entire game only to pull it out of their ass at the last minute — or did my Falcons just quit at the Half Time show — not sure but very happy the Eagles won.
There were so many examples of amazing athletics and also some examples of some brutal hits so just wanted to put those into a training perspective.
The high jumps and the dude who tried to actually hurdle another man — those are training and perfecting at their best.
The hard hits and brain rattles and the amount of helmets that came off — those are reasons that as parents we should think long and hard if we want to push our kids into sports like football. Not very many people will be able to play at this level and even fewer will do it for very long so if you are looking for a sport for your kids, just remember there are TONS of sports that are great for kids and there are lots of sports where they can make a career so don’t assume they have to go into football or baseball just because you like watching them. There is also Golf, Swimming, Tennis, Hockey, Lacrosse and LOTS MORE. And a lot of swimming and even wrestling scholarships go unfilled because there are not enough candidates so if you are hoping to get some help with college, consider LOTS of sports for your kids and let them settle on which one suits them best — it may be football or it may totally surprise you!
